RED DRAGON

RED DRAGON is a rare thing: a genuine performance sailing yacht that gives nothing away on comfort. Launched by Alloy Yachts in 2008 to a Dubois design, her aluminium hull is quick and sea-kindly, while the Wilmotte & Associates interior keeps everything bright, modern and uncluttered. She suits guests who want to actually sail, then step below to a fully equipped superyacht.

Guest accommodation

Ten guests are accommodated across five cabins, with a layout that adapts easily to families or groups of friends. A crew of nine runs the yacht and the sailing programme without ever crowding the guest experience.

Onboard comfort & entertainment

A complete Crestron control system ties together Kaleidescape audio and video throughout, and a 100-foot projector screen drops down on the aft deck for open-air cinema at anchor. Night-vision cameras add another layer of confidence when the cruising runs late.

Performance & range

RED DRAGON sails beautifully and, under power, cruises at 12 knots with a top speed near 15 and a 4,900-nautical-mile range, enough to open up genuinely remote itineraries.

Toys & tenders

A full sailing wardrobe is backed by tenders and a set of water toys for every anchorage. Tell us how much of the week should be spent sailing and how much at play, and the crew will plan around it.
