Few names in yachting travel as far as OCTOPUS. At 126.2 metres, this Lurssen-built explorer was made to roam - from tropical lagoons to the Antarctic ice - welcoming up to 12 guests across 13 suites, with a crew of 45, her own submarine, a helipad, a cinema and a beach club. Now available for private week charters worldwide.

Few yachts carry a reputation like OCTOPUS. Measuring 126.2 metres (414'1"), this Lurssen-built explorer was conceived to go where most yachts cannot, pairing genuine expedition range with the comfort of a private resort. Her exterior lines are signed by Espen Oeino and her interiors by the American designer Jonathan Quinn Barnett. Whether you picture a remote Pacific atoll or the frozen coast of Antarctica, she was built for the journey.
Guest accommodation
OCTOPUS sleeps up to 12 guests across 13 suites - a full-beam owner's suite and twelve further staterooms. The master is a residence in its own right: a sitting area and lounge, a twin bathroom, floor-to-ceiling windows, a private observation lounge and an outdoor dining deck for six, complete with a raised hot tub, a bar and lounging space set into the teak. A crew of 45, chosen for their charter experience, quietly takes care of everything so you never have to.
Onboard comfort & entertainment
There is little chance of a dull hour aboard. Screen a film in the dedicated cinema, dance late into the night, then unwind in the spa, sauna or hammam. The gym keeps your routine on track, the beach club dissolves the line between deck and sea, and the swimming pool is there for laps or a lazy afternoon. Music lovers drift to the bridge-deck studio and its piano, cocktail hour belongs to the leather-and-dark-wood sports bar, and quieter evenings settle around the fireside library beside its own wine bar. The showpiece, though, sits below the waterline: an underwater lounge where you sink into deep sofas and watch the ocean pass by a window onto the deep.
Performance & range
Her steel hull and full-displacement design translate into space, seaworthiness and real steadiness at rest. Twin ABB engines carry her at an easy 12.5-knot cruise and up to 19 knots when the moment calls for it, while a vast fuel capacity gives a range of around 12,500 nautical miles - enough to cross oceans and chase the best of every season. Stabilisers work both at anchor and under way, so life on board stays comfortable in almost any sea.
Toys & tenders
OCTOPUS turns any anchorage into a playground. The headline act is her Triton submarine, ready to take guests into the deep, backed by a dive centre for those who prefer to scuba. On the surface you will find four Yamaha WaveRunners and jet skis, waterskis and wakeboards, a kite surfer, kayaks and windsurfers, along with a spread of towable toys. A fleet of five tenders stands by - led by an 18.1-metre limousine tender - to carry you ashore in style. She is already taking bookings for South Pacific summers and Antarctic winters.
