LAMIMA

LAMIMA is unlike anything else on the water. A traditional Indonesian phinisi built entirely by hand on the island of Sulawesi, this 65-metre motor-sailer is the largest wooden sailing yacht in the world, and every plank and joint carries the craftsmanship of local boatbuilders. She was made for exploring the reefs and islands of Southeast Asia in barefoot, soulful luxury.

Guest accommodation

Fourteen guests are hosted in seven cabins beneath a sweeping open-plan main salon, with warm timber throughout. A crew of 20, including specialist guides and instructors, looks after every aspect of a voyage through some of the planet richest waters.

Onboard comfort & entertainment

This is a yacht for the curious and the active. A certified PADI dive centre and onboard instructor open up world-class reefs, while masseuses, a yoga teacher and a private tour guide shape the days ashore and aboard. Her uncluttered decks offer endless spots simply to relax and take it all in.

Performance & range

LAMIMA sails in the traditional phinisi manner at around 8 knots, with power available to 12 and a 4,500-nautical-mile range. She is built for island-hopping through Raja Ampat, Komodo and the wider Indonesian archipelago.
