No yacht tells a story quite like CHRISTINA O. Originally a wartime vessel built in 1943, she was transformed by Aristotle Onassis into the most famous private yacht of her era, a floating salon for statesmen and stars - Winston Churchill, John F. Kennedy, Maria Callas, Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly all stepped aboard. A meticulous refit, completed in 2015, brought her systems up to date while preserving every ounce of her history.

Guest accommodation

CHRISTINA O hosts up to 36 guests in 17 staterooms. The centrepiece is the Onassis Suite, stretching across the forward bridge deck in three rooms - a sleeping quarter, a marble bathroom and an oak-panelled study with its original onyx fireplace. Ten further doubles and eight convertible cabins accommodate the wider party, all served by a classically trained crew of 40.

Onboard comfort & entertainment

Her public rooms are the real magic. Cocktails belong at Ari's Bar, where the stools are famously topped with whale-tooth handles and the rope-covered bar remains as it was. The mosaic pool on deck rises on a hidden platform to become a dance floor as the evening turns, while a beauty salon, spa and gym add modern comfort to the period glamour.

Performance & range

CHRISTINA O is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. She cruises at a graceful 15 knots and reaches 19, with a range of around 6,000 nautical miles and a stabilisation system that keeps her steady - proof that a classic can still cover serious ground in comfort.

Toys & tenders

For all her heritage, CHRISTINA O keeps guests of every age entertained, with a flyboard, a waterslide, a jet ski, towables, kayaks, paddleboards and snorkelling gear. Four tenders, led by a classic Hacker Craft limousine tender, complete the picture in perfect period style.
