At 90 metres, this three-masted gaff schooner from Royal Huisman ranks among the largest sailing yachts in the world - a towering rig, a gleaming hull and the timeless romance of a classic schooner brought to superyacht size. Designed by Pieter Beeldsnijder with interiors by Rebecca Bradley, she offers something no motor yacht can: the sound, the heel and the sheer thrill of moving a giant by wind alone.

Guest accommodation

ATHENA is deliberately intimate, accommodating just 10 guests in five suites. Her warm, classic deckhouse interior feels more like a grand private residence than a yacht, and a crew of 19 - many of them skilled sailors - ensures the experience is as effortless as it is exhilarating.

Onboard comfort & entertainment

The sailing is the main event. Watching the crew set acres of canvas, feeling the yacht lean into the wind and settling on deck as the miles slip by is an experience guests remember for life. At anchor, her elegant salons and generous deck spaces invite long lunches, quiet reading and evenings under the stars.

Built by Royal Huisman on a steel and aluminium hull, ATHENA is a true ocean voyager, capable of crossing seas under sail and reaching around 14 knots when the wind obliges.
