Based at Miami Beach Marina, Optimus Prime is ready for private charter across Biscayne Bay, Star Island and Key Biscayne, with day trips to Fort Lauderdale, the Florida Keys and the Bahamas.
For guests who want more than a day at anchor, Optimus Prime runs a beach-club and sandbar day around Biscayne Bay. We leave Miami Beach Marina and cruise past Star Island toward the Nixon and Haulover sandbars, the calmest spots to raft up and swim, before easing toward Key Biscayne. A tender run puts you on the sand at Nikki Beach or Joia Beach for lunch and cocktails, then back aboard for the quieter part of the afternoon.
On settled days we push south to Stiltsville and the islands of Biscayne Bay, or north up the Intracoastal toward Fort Lauderdale and its waterfront estates. The captain plans the timing around the wind and your reservations, and returns to Miami after the light has softened over the water.
Charters aboard Optimus Prime depart from Miami Beach Marina, in the heart of Miami Beach on Biscayne Bay. A nearby pick-up (Sea Isle Marina, Bayside or Fort Lauderdale) can be arranged depending on your plans. The crew confirms the exact meeting point and time the day before.

Miami charters run year-round. The dry season from November to May offers the most reliable weather, while summer brings warm water and lively sandbar days. Mornings are usually the calmest. For peak dates (Art Basel, the Miami Grand Prix, the Miami Boat Show and spring) reserve several weeks ahead.
Star Island, the Nixon and Haulover sandbars, Key Biscayne, Stiltsville and the islands of Biscayne Bay are all within easy reach, with longer runs up to Fort Lauderdale or day trips toward Key Largo and Bimini in settled weather.
