With more time on board, SARASTAR can leave the Pitiusas behind and cross the open channel toward Mallorca for a multi-day charter through the wider Balearic Islands. The passage is best made in the settled water of the morning, and the season from May to October gives the most reliable conditions for the crossing.
A relaxed itinerary might begin with a Formentera day and an overnight at anchor off Espalmador, then a run to the dramatic south-west coast of Mallorca and the sheltered bays beneath the Tramuntana mountains. SARASTAR can explore Cala Llombards, the protected national park anchorages around Cabrera, and the quiet coves of the south before turning back toward Ibiza. Along the way the crew adapts each leg to the weather and to your pace, mixing morning crossings, long swim stops, secluded overnight anchorages and evenings in port so that SARASTAR covers real distance across the Balearics without ever feeling rushed.
Charters aboard SARASTAR depart from Marina Ibiza in the Port of Eivissa, in the heart of Ibiza town. This central base gives quick access to the southern coast, Formentera and the western calas, and the crew will confirm the exact berth and boarding time before your day begins.
The Ibiza season runs from May to October. Mornings are typically calm and ideal for crossings, with a light Poniente breeze filling in during the afternoon. June and September offer warm water with fewer crowds, while July and August are the liveliest months on the water.
Yes. Formentera, including Ses Illetes and the Espalmador sandbank, is the signature day cruise from Ibiza and is easily reached aboard SARASTAR. For a longer charter of several days, SARASTAR can also cross the channel toward Mallorca and explore the wider Balearic Islands.
