Pure custom creation since 1949 - the Dutch art of the fully bespoke superyacht.
There are yachts, and then there are Feadships.
Feadship is the Dutch name behind some of the most admired custom superyachts on the water. Since 1949 the yard has followed a single, uncompromising idea: every yacht is a one-off, drawn from a blank sheet around the personality of its owner. Nothing is taken from a catalogue, and no two Feadships are ever the same.
That devotion to full custom, combined with a level of engineering and finish that has become a benchmark for the whole industry, is why a Feadship is regarded less as a product than as a piece of maritime craftsmanship - a monument to imagination, built to last for generations.
Feadship stands for the First Export Association of Dutch Shipbuilders, a cooperative created in 1949 to introduce the finest Dutch yacht builders to American owners. What began as an export alliance became, over three-quarters of a century, the most respected name in custom yachting.
Today the name brings together three historic houses that share a single design and engineering centre, uniting more than a century of shipbuilding heritage under one standard of excellence.

Feadship unites two building yards and one design studio, each with deep roots in Dutch shipbuilding.
One of the oldest names in Dutch shipbuilding, building the largest Feadships. Its shipyard has been part of LVMH since 2008.
The second building yard, renowned for the precision, quality and flawless finish that define every Feadship hull.
The shared design and engineering studio, where every Feadship begins life as a fully bespoke concept.
A Feadship is never rushed. Each yacht takes several years to build, from the first steel plate to the final coat of paint, and much of the work is still done by hand in the yard's Dutch workshops.
This is where the reputation is made: flawless fairing, mirror-perfect paintwork and joinery finished to a standard that very few builders in the world can match.

If it can be imagined, it can be built.
The essentials behind one of yachting's most exclusive names.
Dreaming of a week aboard a Feadship on the French Riviera or beyond? Tell us what you have in mind and we source the right yacht, with crew and itinerary, for a few days or a full season.
Yes. When a Feadship is available for charter, we can arrange it for you, with full crew, catering and a tailored itinerary on the French Riviera and worldwide. As these yachts are rare and in high demand, we recommend enquiring well in advance.
Every Feadship is a full-custom build, designed from a blank sheet around a single owner. Combined with legendary Dutch engineering and finish, this makes each yacht unique and places Feadship among the most exclusive names in yachting.
Feadships typically range from around 33 metres to well over 100 metres, and the yard's Amsterdam facility can build yachts up to 160 metres.
Feadships are built in the Netherlands, across historic yards in Amsterdam, Aalsmeer, Makkum and Kaag, by Royal Van Lent Shipyard and Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw, with design by De Voogt Naval Architects.
